Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion erases your account and all the data linked to it. It is permanent: your progress cannot be recovered.

From the app, in one minute

This is the fastest way: deletion is immediate.

On iPhone, if you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm your identity: this also cuts the link between your Apple ID and the app.

Without the app

Uninstalled the app or changed phones? Make the request here with your account’s email address. We write to you at that address to check that the request really comes from you, then we delete the account and its data within 30 days at most.

What is deleted

• your account and your profile (first name, last name, email address, photo);
• your results, your history, your progress and your daily streak;
• your badges, your place in the rankings and your games of The Civic Ladder;
• your notifications and your conversations with Francis;
• the subscription information linked to your account at our payment provider.

Only an encrypted device identifier remains, with no link to your account or your identity. It prevents getting around the game’s limits by creating new accounts.

What about your Premium subscription?

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. It is managed by Apple or Google and keeps being charged until you cancel it:

• iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Coach : Mon Examen Civique › Cancel Subscription;
• Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Coach : Mon Examen Civique › Cancel subscription.

In the app, Settings › Manage my subscription takes you straight there.
