How does the civic exam work?
The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions to answer in 45 minutes, in French. You need at least 32 right answers (80%) to pass. The app’s mock exam reproduces exactly these conditions.
Is the app official?
No. Coach : Mon Examen Civique is an independent app, with no link to the French administration or any public body. It helps you prepare, but registration and the exam itself only take place with the relevant authorities.
Are the app’s questions the exam questions?
No. They are practice questions, written to cover the topics of the syllabus. They prepare you for the expected knowledge and format, not for the exact questions on the day.
Can I try it without creating an account?
Yes. Guest mode lets you discover the quizzes and play a game of The Civic Ladder. A free account then saves your progress and your daily streak.
How does Premium work?
Premium unlocks the timed mock exam, real-life scenarios, lessons and audio revision, the Coach, Francis and all the quizzes. It is an annual subscription of €39.99, with a 7-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
The subscription is managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial.
Which languages is the app available in?
French, English and Arabic. You change it in Settings › Language, and the app switches to the chosen language straight away.
